For more than fifteen years, Ben Field protected institutions that live under constant attack.

He spent his career in security and technology leadership at some of the most targeted organizations in the world: global banking at Citibank, consumer credit data at TransUnion, and large-scale e-commerce at Vitacost, the online retailer acquired by Kroger. At Prolexic Technologies — the pioneering DDoS-mitigation firm later acquired by Akamai — he worked the front line of the internet’s largest denial-of-service attacks, defending banks and enterprises while the attacks were happening.

He also protected companies closer to home. Ben held security and technology leadership roles at Florida Crystals and TBC Corporation — two institutions headquartered right here in Palm Beach County. He knows this community because he’s spent years defending it.

Along the way, a pattern became impossible to ignore: the same executives whose companies ran hardened, monitored, professionally managed infrastructure went home to estates running on consumer equipment installed by whoever answered the phone first — unsegmented, unmonitored, and undocumented. The family’s most private spaces had less protection than a branch office.

Hedgerow Networks exists to close that gap. We bring enterprise security discipline to a small, deliberately limited roster of estates in Palm Beach and along the Treasure Coast — networks architected like they matter, monitored around the clock, and maintained by people who answer.

We are not the biggest firm in the county, by design. We cap our client list so that every property gets an engineer who knows it, and every household gets the standard of care this work actually requires.
