What we do

Estate networks are their own discipline. They’re larger than a home network, more demanding than most small offices, and they have to be invisible. Here’s how we approach each part of the job.

Estate Network Design & Installation

Most residential networks fail for the same reason: they were sized for a house rather than for an estate. We design from the property outward — the main residence, guest house, pool house, dock, gatehouse, staff quarters, and the ground in between.

What’s included

  • Full site survey and RF planning, including outdoor coverage
  • Structured cabling, fiber between buildings where distance requires it
  • Enterprise-grade switching, routing, and access points (UniFi)
  • Redundant internet with automatic failover, plus cellular backup
  • VLAN segmentation — family, staff, guest, AV, cameras, and IoT kept properly separate
  • Rack build-out, labeling, and thermal management
  • Complete documentation and network diagram, handed over at close

Right for you if you’re building or renovating, the network was never designed in the first place, or you’re adding structures the original system was never sized for.

Working with your builder? We coordinate directly with architects, builders, and AV integrators, and we prefer to be involved before the walls close.

Managed Monitoring & Support

This is the part most companies treat as an afterthought. We treat it as the product. Every network we manage is monitored continuously — we see a failing access point or an internet outage as it happens, not when someone in the house finally calls. Most of what we fix, we fix remotely, often before anyone notices.

What’s included

  • 24/7 monitoring with alerting on device, uplink, and service health
  • Remote support and remote resolution wherever possible
  • Scheduled firmware and security updates — applied deliberately, never automatically at 2am
  • Seasonal readiness checks before arrival and after departure
  • Out-of-band access so we can reach the network even when the primary connection is down
  • A named engineer who knows the property
  • Onsite response within a committed window

Right for you if the house sits empty part of the year, there are staff or family members who need things to simply work, or you’ve grown tired of calling whoever installed it and hoping they answer.

Wi-Fi Coverage & Remediation

Sometimes the network doesn’t need replacing. It needs someone to actually diagnose it. We survey the property, measure real-world signal and interference, and identify what’s causing the problem — which is frequently not what people assume.

What’s included

  • Professional RF survey with heat mapping, indoors and out
  • Interference analysis and channel planning
  • Written findings with a clear recommendation and cost
  • Remediation, from adjustment through full redesign
  • Post-work verification survey so you can see the difference

Right for you if there are dead zones, video calls drop in certain rooms, outdoor coverage fails past the terrace, or devices disconnect and reconnect without explanation. We’re happy to work on systems we didn’t install.

Security Cameras & Access Control

Cameras are only useful if the footage is there when you need it and reachable from where you are. We install camera and access systems as part of the network rather than as an unrelated system sharing the same cable.

What’s included

  • Camera placement planned around sightlines, lighting, and approach paths
  • Local recording with defined retention, plus optional offsite copy
  • Remote viewing that works reliably on mobile
  • Gate, door, and entry access control with per-person credentials
  • Access logs — who entered, when — for staff and contractors
  • Integration with existing systems where sensible

Right for you if coverage has gaps, footage isn’t retained long enough to be useful, remote viewing is unreliable, or you need to manage access for staff, contractors, and household without handing out keys.

Household Cyber Protection

Wealthy families are no longer incidental victims — they are selected targets. Deloitte found that 43% of family offices worldwide were hit by a cyberattack within a recent two-year window; in North America it was 57%. The household network is the soft way in: the unsegmented smart TV, the assistant’s laptop, the vendor who still has the Wi-Fi password from 2022. This is the part of our work no installer can offer, because it isn’t an installation skill. It’s a security discipline — and it’s where our founder spent his career.

What’s included

  • Estate Network & Security Assessment — a written report your family office can act on
  • Network segmentation that actually isolates what should be isolated
  • Router- and DNS-level threat filtering across the whole property
  • Staff and household access hygiene: who can reach what, reviewed and documented
  • Vendor access controls — the pool company’s controller doesn’t need to see the family’s devices
  • Coordination with your family office’s cyber providers, in their language

Right for you if the family has a public profile, a family office, staff turnover, or has simply never had anyone look at the household the way an adversary would.
